YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Youth Empowerment Programme is to empower at risk youth lives through character-building and life skills so that they can excel in fulfilling their God given purpose.

Youth Empowerment Porgramme (YEP) is a critical component of our mentorship services. The primary objective of the TEP is to eliminate unhealthy behaviors common to at-risk youth, ages 14-19. Specifically, YEP is designed to reduce high-risk behaviors, strengthen youth resiliency, improve protective factors, develop fundamental life skills and establish a pattern of behaviors that lead to healthy choices and ultimately success in life. Teenagers enrolled in YEP receive intensive life skills training in a variety of areas such as conflict resolution, how to handle peer pressure and stress management but they also learn valuable life skills about finances, job interview skills, etiquette and much more! The sessions are very hands on with interactive activities however there is a nominal registration fee which goes to support our work with teens.
